Microsoft today released a new Canary build of Microsoft Edge Chromium. Version 80.0.353.0 of the browser features a number of changes made to InPrivate browsing. The browser has finally got a search box for the New Tab page for InPrivate windows, and a number of other minor improvements.

In addition to the brief data collection and tracking clarification, there is a search box and and a 'More details' button that exposes a lot of information related to InPrivate browsing mode.

The search box is actually working, not just moving the focus to the search box. The user is able to type directly in the search field. The search engine is set to pre-configured Bing that won't remember your search queries and history, matching the private browsing.

However, keep in mind that Bing anyway is able to access your IP address and detect your location to provide local results. Microsoft says that this information won't accumulated and won't be used to track you.

Other minor changes include a slightly updated InPrivate badge and other controls in the address bar.
