Why you must switch from uTorrent immediately and to what

uTorrent is one of the most popular BitTorrent client apps for downloading anything. It has always been the de-facto app for Windows users owing to its low resource consumption and small executable size. Its UI was also clean, simple and an example of a successful design. However, newer versions of uTorrent are full of ads, and, what is worse is that the latest version installs a Bitcoin miner silently on your PC, which leads to heavy CPU usage and overall performance slowdown of your PC hardware. Here is what you need to know if you use uTorrent.

Vivaldi – A browser for all Opera 12 fans

Opera Software buried their good, old Opera 12 browser and started working on a very simplified (and far more useless) modern Opera version. I was a big fan of the classic Opera browser. In search of a decent replacement for it, I came to know about Vivaldi, a new browser from Opera's co-founder and his team. Even if this browser is at the early "Technical Preview" stage, it looks very promising. Let's take a closer look.

How to share and install your Windows Store apps with other user accounts on your PC

If you downloaded a free or paid Metro app from the Windows Store, it will be installed only for your currently logged-in user account. It won't be available for other user accounts on your Windows 8 or Windows 10 PC. This is radically different from the desktop app model where you could install an app for all users at once. If you share your PC with your family members and they all have their own accounts, you might be interested in knowing how to install the same app you downloaded on other user accounts. Cursor Commander: install and manage cursors with one click

Cursors do not change very often in Windows. There was a major update to the default cursors with the release of Windows Vista. It featured new mouse pointers in Aero style. Users who love customizing their OS might be bored to see the same set of cursors in all recent versions of Windows. Even Windows 8 which was a drastic UI change only had slight modifications to Vista's cursors. To change cursors, you need to download them, extract the files and apply them manually with the Mouse Control Panel. I decided to simplify cursor customization and released a freeware app, Cursor Commander. Let's take a closer look at what it can do for you.
