Edge Canary gets a dedicated tab search button
Since Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome use the same rendering engine, the two browsers share many features. Still, some capabilities arrive in Microsoft Edge much later compared to Google Chrome. Tab Search is one of such features. Stable versions of Chrome offer the tab search button for quite a long time now, while Microsoft continues experimenting with that for almost a year. In the latest update to Edge Canary, Microsoft added a new button to invoke tab search in the browser.
“Super-Duper Secure Mode” is now in Microsoft Edge settings
Recently, Microsoft introduced a new experimental flag for its Edge browser called "Super-Duper Secure Mode." When enabled, the flag disables JIT in the JavaScript V8 engine to make Edge safer. JIT (just-in-time) is a compiler that preloads JavaScript code before the browser needs it to improve performance and make it feel snappier. According to Microsoft, half of the bugs in the V8 engine have their roots tied to JIT; thus, disabling the technology improves security significantly.

Also, the browser allows opening all favorites in a folder with a single click in a new or current window. In the most recent update to Edge Canary, Microsoft added another option: open favorites in a new tab group.
Edge 94 can immediately put inactive tabs to sleep
Microsoft continues improving Performance Mode (recently renamed to Efficiency Mode) with new features and capabilities to let you run the Edge browser as smoothly as possible, even on budget hardware. "Sleeping Tabs" is a cornerstone of Efficiency Mode that allows you to save RAM and CPU resources by putting inactive pages to sleep. In Edge 92 Stable, the browser freezes tabs after no less than 5 minutes of inactivity. In Edge 94, that timeout reduced almost to zero.
