Windows 11 is now available for Azure Virtual Desktop as a preview

Microsoft has announced that customers can run Windows 11 in preview on Azure Virtual Desktop. As you may already know, Azure Virtual Desktop allows users to run virtualized Windows instances in the cloud, allowing them to connect to them from virtually anywhere. Simply put, you can access your work files and applications remotely, not just from the office.

Microsoft Edge Dev 94.0.982.2 released with Immersive Reader improvements

Microsoft today released a new Dev builds of Microsoft Edge. it is based on Chromium 94, and adds the ability to adjust the text width in Immersive Reader, the feature that landed in the Canary channel just a few days ago. There are a few more new features, and a bunch of fixes included in Edge Dev 94.0.982.2.

Windows 10 version 21H2 build 19044.1200 released

Microsoft today released a new build of Windows 10 version 21H2 to Insiders in the Release Preview channel. These builds are available to users whose devices do not meet minimum hardware requirements of Windows 11, so they receive 21H2 instead. Today's build 19044.1200 is released with patch KB5005101. It adds support for WPA3 H2E for Wi-Fi, and includes a number of fixes and improvements to Windows Hello, WSL, and more.

Edge Canary gets a dedicated tab search button

Since Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome use the same rendering engine, the two browsers share many features. Still, some capabilities arrive in Microsoft Edge much later compared to Google Chrome. Tab Search is one of such features. Stable versions of Chrome offer the tab search button for quite a long time now, while Microsoft continues experimenting with that for almost a year. In the latest update to Edge Canary, Microsoft added a new button to invoke tab search in the browser.
