Microsoft continues transforming the Office app on mobile platforms into a universal all-in-one productivity-oriented program. The app already supports tons of features, previously available in individual apps. Enhanced Dark Mode is now available in Word for macOS
At the beginning of this year, Microsoft announced an enhanced dark mode for Word. With the new feature, Office Word switches canvas' color from white to dark, easing the strain on the users' eyes. Upcoming updates for Office will finally fix this inconvenience.
Microsoft announced five new fonts to replace Calibri in Office apps
Fifteen years ago, together with now unsupported Office 2007, Microsoft introduced Calibri –the default font for Office apps to replace Times New Roman. Now the company thinks it's time to move on and change the default font again. This is a significant change for the Office applications, which are used by hundreds of millions of users around the world, and the company does not want to rush to make a decision. On its official website, Microsoft announced five new font candidates to replace the default Calibri font. These fonts are already available in Office apps, so users can try them out and decide which one is the best.

For example, right-click opens a classic touch-oriented context menu, which is not the most convenient option when using a trackpad or mouse. Luckily, the latest update for Office for iPad brings updated context menus with better accessibility.
