Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview build 20257 to Insiders in the Dev channel. The build comes from the FE_RELEASE branch, and comes with a load of important fixes. There is also a change made to the Start menu.

Microsoft today announced that Windows Embedded Standard 7 reached end of support on October 13, 2020. Devices running Windows Embedded Standard 7 will no longer receive updates.
Microsoft reminds Windows 7 customers to purchase the second year of ESU coverage
Microsoft had discontinued Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 on January 14, 2020. All SKUs no longer receive updates, except for those customers who purchased Extended Security Updates (ESU). The ESU offer has been available in the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) since April 1, 2019. Microsoft sells ESU in specific 12-month periods, so it is the right moment to pay for the year two.
.NET 5.0 is now generally available
Earlier at Build 2019, Microsoft announced the next major version of their .NET Framework, .NET 5.0. It is a cross-platform product and will be able to target Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, Android, tvOS, watchOS and WebAssembly, and more.
Edge 88.0.692.0 brings the ability to pin a web site to the Dev channel
Microsoft today released Edge Dev 88.0.692.0 to Insiders in the Dev channel. Among a few new features, the release includes the ability to directly pin a website to the Start menu. There are also a number of general fixes and improvements.
Windows 10 version 1809 is no longer supported
As planned, Microsoft has discontinued support for Windows 10 version 1809. Today was the last day when the OS received its Patch Tuesday updates.
