Skype UWP app is now available to Xbox One users

Earlier this week, Microsoft finally ditched the preview branding for its Universal Skype app after almost a year in testing. The app is available to Windows 10 users on both PC and Mobile, but the third platform with Universal app support, Xbox One, was lacking an updated Skype client. Well, not anymore: Microsoft has made its app available for every Xbox One user to install and try out.

Build 15023 is out to Xbox One Insider Preview members in the Alpha ring

Microsoft has recently revamped the Xbox One Insider Program, introducing new flighting rings and making it available only to invited or select Xbox One users. There's a new build rolling out in the Alpha ring that introduces more bug fixes to the issues present in previous builds. So if you have enrolled your console into the Insider Program and you are a member of the Alpha ring, build 15023.1002 should now be available for you to try out. Xbox One now supports Bioshock series through backward compatibility

BioShock: The Collection has been recently released for Xbox One, featuring three games remastered for the current console generation. However, it's a separate bundle that Xbox One users needed to purchase again even if they had all three games for Xbox 360. 3 more games are now available for Xbox One via backward compatibility

The Xbox Backward Compatibility was a long awaited feature for Xbox One owners since the console's launch. It has became a huge success with a still growing list of available games. This time Microsoft has added 3 Xbox 360 games at once: now you can enjoy playing "Shadowrun", "Space Ark", and "Shotest Shogi" once again. With the latest additions (and the ones that have been added on December 4 — "Garou: Mark of the Wolves", "Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project" and "Sonic the Fighters'), the Backward Compatibility list now contains 301 games.
