Starting in Windows 11 Build 25276, Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool, or simply MSDT, includes a hidden app deprecation notification with a link to the appropriate support page. The EOL time is set somewhere in 2025 that indicates that next-gen Windows version will not offer it, or may not support it after all.
Following Chrome, Microsoft Edge 109 is out with a new Text prediction feature
Due to the same release schedule, Microsoft Edge quickly catches Chrome in the version number race. So a few days after Chrome 109, Microsoft Edge 109 landed in the stable branch with a new feature for consumers, Text Predictions, that allows you to type faster. There are also a couple of other important changes, including a new certificate verifier bundled with the browser to replace the one integrated with the OS. Also Edge 109 features Account linking between a personal Microsoft account (MSA) and Azure Active Directory (AAD) account.

Google Chrome 109 is available for all supported platforms. This is the last browser version that supports Windows 8.1 and Windows 7, with no further updates for these OSes. For new features, Chrome 109 has got Google Lens integration on the new tab page, a new site permission indicator in the address bar, a new update system, and Mathematical Markup Language support on HTML.

Yesterday Microsoft released cumulative updates for Windows 11, part of Patch Tuesday. Besides the announced fixes, the patches include a hidden new design for the search in the Start menu and in the taskbar.
