Thunderbird 78.2.0 released with a number of fixes

Shortly after Thunderbird 78, the devs released a number of minor updates for this excellent mail app. Version 78.2 is available exclusively to the branch of Thunderbird 78. There is no corresponding update package for version 68, so you cannot get Thunderbird 78.2 automatically installed over Thunderbird 68. PowerShell 7.1 Preview is now available in the Microsoft Store

Recently, Microsoft released PowerShell 7.1 Preview 6 to the public, allowing interested users to test new features of the upcoming platform.  The company today published it to the Microsoft Store. Remote Desktop Store app gets a massive update

In addition to the classic Remote Desktop app (mstsc.exe), Windows 10 includes a modern app, simply called 'Microsoft Remote App'. It is a UWP app that receives updates from the Microsoft Store.. Microsoft has issued a new app version to Insiders with a ton of new features and improvements, including light and dark mode support, ARM64 support, and much more.

Windows Terminal Preview v1.2.2234.0 and Stable 1.1.2233.0 Released

The team behind the Windows Terminal has released a maintenance update to the app. Windows Terminal Preview v1.2.2234.0 brought several fixes for most annoying bugs.  There is also an update for the stable version of the app delivered with version 1.1.2233.0. Microsoft may rebrand Bing to Microsoft Bing, and change its logo once again

Just recently, Microsoft has updated Bing with a new logo, and it looks like the Redmond company is not satisfied with its branding. One more change is coming to Bing. Currently, Microsoft is experimenting with a new name for the service, and with  a new logo for it again. Microsoft discontinues Cortana on Mobile, and Surface Headphones

An updated support document for Cortana reveals the changes coming for the digital assistant in the U.S.. Microsoft will end support for Cortana on mobile, the Invoke smart speaker, and Surface Headphones. The company says that it is adjusting the “focus areas of innovation and development to give our customers assistance where they need it most”.
