PowerToys 0.23 is out with bug fixes only, no conference muting tool yet

Microsoft has released a maintenance update for the stable version of the PowerToys suite. While previously the company has announced the conference muting tool coming to the stable PowerToys, this release doesn't include it. It only comes with bugfixes and general improvements. Thunderbird 78 is now available as upgrade option for Thunderbird 68 users

Mozilla has finally made Thunderbird 78 available for the upgrade to Thunderbird 68 users. Till now Thunderbird 68 users had to download and install the app manually to get the latest version.  This has finally changed. Thunderbird 78.2.2 released with a number fixes and one new feature

Thunderbird 78.2.2 is now available for download. Version 78.2.2 will be offered as an update package to the Thunderbird 78 branch. There is no corresponding update package for version 68, so you cannot get Thunderbird 78.2.1 automatically installed over Thunderbird 68 or older releases. PowerToys 0.22 includes new Mute Conference tool, version 0.21.1 released with bugfixes

Microsoft has released two new PowerToys versions. PowerToys 0.21.1 is now available in the stable branch of the app suite, and resolves a bunch of various issues in tools included in the suite. PowerToys 0.22 is a new preview release. It is notable for a new tool, Video Conference Mute. The new tool will mute not your audio and video with a single keystroke. Microsoft moves Defender ATP for Mac from kernel extensions to system extensions

Apple users may be aware of that the company is shifting away from kernel extensions, starting with macOS 11 Big Sur.
