Microsoft has introduced adaptive notification requests in Edge

Although useful in some instances, notification requests in modern browsers can often be very annoying and distracting. For this reason, in Edge 84, Microsoft introduced quieter notification requests. This feature ensures requests remain visible but less prominent or bothersome. Since the release of Edge 84, quiet notification requests enabled by default for every website. This change significantly improved user experience in Microsoft Edge but at the same time left some room for improvement. 

Microsoft to fix broken webcams after installing February cumulative update

Cumulative updates for Windows 10 no longer cause major rage outbreaks among the users, but things sometimes go sideways anyway. After installing this month's cumulative updates, some users found themselves with completely broken webcams. Needless to say, this is definitely not what you want to experience when almost everyone relies on webcams for remote work and education. Windows 10 21H1 brings no changes to hardware requirements

The first feature update to Windows 10 in 2021 is getting closer, and Microsoft is shedding more light on details about this update. Usually, noticeable updates bring some changes to hardware requirements, but this is not the case with Windows 10 21H1. Microsoft has published a post on the Tech Community forum where it notified users that the next major update to Windows 10 brings zero changes to hardware requirements. 

Unified Office app is now available for iPad

After a brief period of testing, Microsoft finally released the unified Office app for iPad. This application combines several most popular Office apps in a single program; thus, it saves you space on a device and makes using Office apps simpler. The unified Office app debuted back in February 2020 but only for iPhone. Microsoft promised to release the optimized version for iPad somewhere in late 2020, and after little changes in the release schedule, the app is now available.

Project xCloud is currently only available on Android in a limited set of countries, but Microsoft is on track to launch Project xCloud for Web. Telegram has fixed a serious privacy issue with self-destructing media
