Microsoft just updated the built-in Store app on Windows 11 by adding new sorting options in the library. Instead of the filter button that opens a huge pane above the list of apps, it now provides a compact drop-down menu with extra options.

Windows 11, the latest version of the operating system, comes with a set of brand new sounds. They are soft and light, so many users like them a lot. But what remained unknown is that sounds will change when you switch to dark mode and back.

You can add the Show Desktop shortcut to the taskbar in Windows 11. It will be similar to the button that could be found in the taskbar of Windows XP and Windows Vista. Before Windows 7, all Windows versions had a special shortcut next to the Start menu button. It allowed users to show the Desktop and minimize all windows with a single click.

Microsoft has announced that customers can run Windows 11 in preview on Azure Virtual Desktop. As you may already know, Azure Virtual Desktop allows users to run virtualized Windows instances in the cloud, allowing them to connect to them from virtually anywhere. Simply put, you can access your work files and applications remotely, not just from the office.

Alongside a new build in the Dev channel, Microsoft started rolling out the redesigned Alarms and Clock app. At the beginning of this month, Panos Panay published a teaser of the upcoming update, which is now live for Windows Insiders.

Microsoft today released a new Windows 11 build to Dev and Beta channel insiders. This is the first build to include a new 'Focus' feature in Alarms and Clocks. Finally, Microsoft is rolling out the estimated update time to a wider audience.
