Windows 10 version 1809 is available via Windows Update

As you may remember, Microsoft pulled Windows 10 October 2018 Update quickly after its release because of a number of critical bugs. It looks like the company has fixed all critical issues with version 1809. Today, it appeared on Windows Update, so every Windows 10 user can update his or her PC to the latest version of the OS if their have compatible hardware.

Upgrading to Windows 10 version 1809 may invalidate built-in Administrator

Yet another issue with the most recent version of Windows 10 has been revealed. If you are upgrading the OS from version 1803 to Windows 10 version 1809, this may break the built-in Administrator user account.

KB4464455 Windows 10 Build 17763.107 (Slow and RP Rings)

Microsoft is re-releasing the bugfix for its problem-riddled Windows 10 October 2018 Update.  The updated KB4464455 raises the OS version to 17763.107 and resolves a number of issues found since its final version,17763.1, and its successor, 17763.104.

Windows 10 Version 1809 Causes Font Issues

In addition to audio and data loss issues (issue #1, issue #2), Windows 10 October 2018 Update is causing font issues for a number of users. The fonts appear broken in Settings and third-party apps like Foobar2000.

There is another serious bug in Windows 10 version 1809

Windows 10 version 1809 seems to be a very bug-ridden, unfortunate release of the OS. After being rolled out, its users have run into various issues. Some of them are minor, like the driver issue for Intel audio users, but others were really serious and caused data loss, so Microsoft temporarily stopped redistribution of the October 2018 Update. There is another bug discovered in the OS that also causes data loss.

Microsoft is releasing yet another bug fix for its problem-riddled Windows 10 October 2018 Update.  KB4464455 raises the OS version to 17763.104 and resolves a number of issues found since its final version,17763.1.

Fix No Audio Issue in Windows 10 version 1809

In addition to the user profile removal and broken notification issues, Windows 10 version 1809 leaves certain users without sounds. Due to a driver issue, the operating system can't play audio. Thankfully, it is easy to fix this issue.
