Windows 11 allows moving Copilot to the system tray

Microsoft is testing a new feature for the Copilot. It can now be moved to the system tray. In this case, the taskbar button will disappear, and the Copilot icon will become the first button at the right screen edge. Clicking it will open the same sidebar, i.e. visually there will be no other changes.

Windows 11 now supports 7Z and TAR archive creation

The latest Canary release, Windows 11 build 25992, adds native support for 7z and Tar archive creation. Just like you've been creating ZIP archives for decades, you can now use these formats without having to install any external applications. Right-click a file or folder, select Compress to..., and pick the desired compression option.

Microsoft is about to add Copilot to Windows 10
