Skype 8.66 stable brings support for up to 100 people in Skype calls

Microsoft has improved the Skype's group call feature by lifting up the participant limit from 50 to 100 users. Earlier avaialble in Skype Preview, the feature is now rolled out to everyone.

Skype 8.62 is out with custom call backgrounds, new grid view, and more

After a month of testing, a bunch of new Skype features land in the stable version of the app. The new release, Skype 8.62, adds cool things like call background presets, a bigger  participant grid on Desktop and mobile, and message sync improvements.

Skype 8.61 and Skype for Windows 10 v15 released, based on Electron

As you may remember, some time ago Microsoft had switched to Electron for Skype. Microsoft today released Skype version 8.61 (Desktop app), along with the Skype version 15 for Windows 10 (Store app), both Electron-based.
