Microsoft Edge 89 is now available in the Beta channel, more precisely it is version 89.0.774.18. The stable version 89 will become available in early March. There are a lot of great changes, which of course should be familiar to Dev and Canary Edge users.

Microsoft begins removing Edge Legacy from Windows 10
Although Chromium-based Microsoft Edge is the default browser in Windows 10, classic Edge based on the EdgeHTML rendering engine is still out there buried deep inside Windows 10. In the latest Canary Build, developers made a small tweak to improve Favorites search and make it a little bit faster.
