Windows 10, version 1903 and Windows Server, version 1903 have reached end of support

Microsoft today ended support for Windows 10 version 1903, also known as 'May 2019 Update' and '19H1'. The OS will no longer receive security updates. Earlier, Microsoft has started upgrading users of the OS to a newer release.

Microsoft Solves Intel RST Driver Issue, Allows More Users to Get Windows 10 Version 1903

As you may remember, there was an issue with the Intel RST Driver in Windows 10 blocking the upgrade to version 1903 for a huge number of devices. The issue appears to be solved with the latest cumulative update.

KB4505903 for Windows 10 version 1903 (18362.267)

On June 26, 2019 Microsoft released a new patch for Windows 10 version 1903. The update KB4505903 raises the OS build number to 18362.267. This update is a welcome addition to the last Patch Tuesday didn't include the update for version 1903.

Intel Rapid Storage (Intel RST) Driver Prevents Update to Windows 10 version 1903

As you may remember, Microsoft has postponed public rollout of Windows 10 version 1903 '19H1' on April 4, 2019. By shifting the release from April to May, the company has allotted more time for testing. Also, there was a number of conditions Microsoft has defined to prevent certain PCs from upgrade to the latest feature update. One of them is Intel Rapid Storage (Intel RST) drivers.
