The Your Phone can now show recent Android apps on Desktop

Microsoft has issued a Your Phone app update to Windows Insiders in all channels. A new feature in the Your Phone app will display the three most recently used apps from your smartphone in a flyout above the Windows taskbar. Traditionally, it works with a limited number of Android smartphones.

Microsoft Edge will sync PWA apps across your devices

Microsoft is testing a new feature for the Edge browser that will allow you to sync PWA across your devices. With one click you will able to install web apps that you have installed on your other device. The list of available apps appears on the "Apps" page, that opens with the eponymous entry in the menu (Alt+F).

Get 3D Fluent Design Emoji of Windows 11 in Telegram

As you may already know, Microsoft is working on beautiful 3D emoji for Windows 11 to replace the current 2D flat emoticons. The updated emoji are already available in Microsoft Teams, so Teams users can enjoy better-looking graphics. Windows 11 adds Do not disturb mode and new Focus sessions

The most recent update to Windows 11 released to the Dev channel brings with it a huge list of improvements. In build 22557, Microsoft has reworked multiple areas of the OS, including the taskbar that now supports drag and drop. The Start menu allows creating folders for icons. Finally there's a new Task Manager app. Among them, Microsoft has added the Do not disturb  and Focus features, taking your quiet hours experience to the next level.

A new Dev channel build is now available to Windows Insiders. Much to users' surprise, it includes a ton of various interface changes and general improvements, including folders in the Start menu, Snap Bar, File Explorer tweaks, new touch gestures, updates to the Focus feature, and more.

Chrome OS Flex is the official Chrome OS release for regular PCs

Google has finally introduced a variant of Chrome OS that runs on traditional desktop PCs. As you probably know, until now Chrome OS was exclusive to Chromebook, Chromebase & Chromebox devices.  Google targets its Chrome OS Flex edition for upgrading existing legacy systems to extend their lifecycle, reducing costs (for example, no need to pay for an OS and additional software such as antivirus), improving infrastructure security, and unifying software used by companies and educational institutions.

Windows 11 will get new features more frequently, outside of major releases

Microsoft is about to release new features for Windows 11 more frequently. The Redmond software giant will issue small cumulative updates via the built-in Windows Update service. Without linking them to major OS feature updates, Microsoft can release them whenever they find the features ready for mainstream use. Today's major update for Windows 11 is one of such updates.
