Starting with version 22H2, Microsoft updates Windows 11 with frequent portions of new features internally called "Moments". For example, the "Moment 1" update has included tabs in File Explorer, Suggested Actions, and more. Its successor, the Moment 2 update features, are in testing among Insiders and are slated for the release in February or March 2023. Finally, in the spring of 2023 there will be another set of features called "Moment 3" and it will appear sometime in May.

Windows 11 Build 25267 (Dev) adds new taskbar search styles, fixes slow file copy
Microsoft has released Windows 11 build 25267 to Windows Insiders in the Dev channel. It includes new styling options for Search on the taskbar, and several important fixes. The file copy performance bug has been resolved, as well as media casting crashes, and more. This is the last build for the Dev channel before the upcoming holidays. Insider builds will resume in January 2023.
Microsoft backported the new Media Player app to Windows 10
With Windows 11, Microsoft has also introduced a new Media Player app. It replaces the classic Groove Music app, and also will supersede even more classic Windows Media Player software. Microsoft is slowly sunsetting the latter, so it didn't get any new major change for several Windows releases. To keep Windows 10 up to date, Microsoft will make the new Media Player app available in that OS as well. Without a fanfare, the Redmond firm has pushed it to the Release Preview channel.
Windows 10 version 21H1 has reached end of servicing
Microsoft has finished support for Windows 10 version 21H1. Yesterday's cumulative updates were the last patches it has received. Microsoft recommends upgrading to the latest versions of Windows 10 as soon as possible to continue to stay protected.
New Widgets pane is now available in Windows 11 stable, doesn’t require Microsoft account
Since this fall Microsoft was testing an updated Widgets pane with a redesigned title bar and new icons. It was initially available to Insiders on the Dev channel. Now the Redmond firm finds is stable enough for daily use, so production versions of Windows 11 are getting it.
December 2022 Cumulative updates for Windows 11 and 10 released
Microsoft has released a new portion of cumulative updates for all supported operating systems. As you already know, these updates are aimed at fixing bugs and eliminating vulnerabilities. They don't include new features. You can get the patches from Windows Update or download them manually from Microsoft Update Catalog link.

With release of Edge Dev 110.0.1543.0, Microsoft announced that they drop support for legacy operating system in the Edge 110 version. Those include Windows 8.1, Windows 8 and Windows 7.
