Windows 11 Build 23619 (Dev) allows quickly editing linked smartphone images

Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 Build 23619 to Windows Insiders in the Dev channel. The key changes in this are the instant access to new photos and screenshots on the linked smartphone, upcoming Teams meeting shown in the Start  menu, and improved File Explorer performance.

Windows Copilot auto-start is now being tested with 27-inch screens

The new Copilot autorun feature in Windows 11 is currently undergoing limited testing on systems with 27-inch displays. To use this feature, users must be registered in the Windows Insider program and have installed Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23615.

Microsoft has announced Copilot Pro subscription for $20/mo

Microsoft opens Copilot Pro subscription for $20 to add its support to Office. The company first launched AI-powered Office features for business in November. Now it becomes part of a $20-per-month Copilot Pro subscription. For that money, users will get access to AI options in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as priority access to the latest OpenAI models and the ability to create their own Copilot GPT.

Microsoft: The Copilot key is not required for Windows 11 device certification

Microsoft has confirmed that device manufacturers do not need to replace one of the Win buttons on keyboards with a button to launch the Copilot AI assistant in order to be officially certified for Windows 11. The location of the Copilot key may vary by manufacturer, but it is typically found to the right of the space bar opposite the Win key.
