Windows 11 Task Manager now supports accent color for process highlights

You may remember that Windows 11 preview builds for Insiders now include a brand new Task Manager app. It features a restyled user interface that matches the look and feel of other Windows 11 apps. There are also new icons, dark mode support, the return of Efficient mode for apps, and more. Microsoft goes forward with updating Task Manager, which now supports accent color for process highlights.

KB5012643 Preview for Windows 11 comes with plenty of fixes, including the startup bug

Microsoft today released an optional patch KB5012643 for Windows 11. The update raises the OS version to Build 22000.652. It is notable for adding improvements for servicing the Secure Boot component, video playback fixes. Also, it resolves a bug that can cause a slow startup or even a crash at boot.

Microsoft has updated 190 000 own devices to Windows 11

When Microsoft released Windows 11 last year, the company put a lot of effort into updating the devices of its employees. According to Lukas Velush, more than 190,000 corporate devices at Microsoft have been migrated to Windows 11. The upgrade process was "the smoothest" in Microsoft's history.

A new study shows that apps that Windows 11 comes with can easily occupy more than 1.5 GB on you system drive. Similar to Windows 8 and Windows 10, the latest version of the OS includes a good pack of various "modern" apps that receive updates from the Store and are built with UWP. Some of them are pretty huge.
