Microsoft drops support for many email apps in its Outlook for web
Microsoft no longer supports basic authentication for the Outlook email service. So email apps that can only work with a username and password via IMAP and POP3 aren't supported any more. The OAuth 2.0 tokens are the only method supported for apps.
