Microsoft-branded mice and keyboards will now be produced by Incase

In January 2024, Incase made an announcement regarding their partnership with Microsoft. They stated that various Microsoft-branded accessories such as wireless and wired ergonomic mice, keyboards, webcams, speakers, headsets, and more will continue to be marketed under the Incase Designed brand. This collaboration benefits both companies.

Incase Will Produce Microsoft Mice And Keyboards

Incase shared that they will utilize manufacturing components and supply chain services from Microsoft. They will also obtain licenses for different product designs. They assured customers that the quality and main features of the previous Microsoft peripherals will remain unchanged in the new production.

Furthermore, Incase now has permission to release a new model of an ergonomic keyboard for devices that Microsoft originally intended to launch but never did. Under the current contract, Incase acquired licenses to manufacture over 20 Microsoft peripheral products. These devices should enter the market in the second quarter of 2024.

Prior to this partnership, Incase primarily focused on producing bags and laptop cases. However, the specific terms of the deal between Microsoft and Incase were not disclosed.

But Microsoft will continue to own its developments. Maybe one day the company will again release peripherals under its own brand.

In April 2023, Microsoft had announced that they would no longer produce mice, keyboards, and webcams under their own brand. Instead, they would shift their focus to PC accessories under the Surface brand.
