Microsoft started rolling out the latest versions several weeks ago. Still, as the company usually does, new versions spread gradually during some period of time. Some users have already got access to casting in OneDrive for Android, while others are yet to receive the feature, even with the latest version installed. If your smartphone is already running OneDrive 6.9.1, but there is no cast button, try reinstalling the app from the Google Play Store. In case that does not help, give Microsoft a few more days to finish the rollout. Interestingly, Microsoft shipped the update at the end of April, but many users still cannot cast media from OneDrive for Android.

On a side note, Microsoft is now also rolling out a significant update for OneDrive on Windows 10. The company is finally moving the OneDrive app from 32-bit to 64-bit architecture. That change should dramatically improve the app's performance with large files.
