Google has been in discussions with EU regulators to address any concerns related to transparency, choice, and control.

In addition to existing capabilities such as code creation and debugging, Bard now has the ability to change the tone and style of its responses. The bot can answer briefly, in detail, in simple words, or in the language of a professional in a certain area. The last feature is currently only available for the English version.

If the user wants to learn more about the image or write a description for it, they can upload it to the chat. Bard will recognize the picture and find information about it using the Google Lens service.

It can also voice its answers and has improved features for finding and pinning conversations, sharing answers, and exporting code.

Bard was initially launched on February 7, 2023, and was initially only available in the US and UK in English.

In other news, Google is facing a class-action lawsuit in federal court in San Francisco, where it is being accused of unlawfully collecting data from websites for the purpose of training its AI.
