Windows 11 Build 23466: Enable taskbar labels, new File Explorer, and more

The latest Dev channel release, Windows 11 Build 23466, comes with plenty of hidden features. With little effort, you can enable taskbar button ungrouping and labels, new File Explorer design, suggestions to disable notifications for select apps, and even the ability to get rid of the Chat app. While some features have been announced in the official change log, Microsoft rolls out most of them gradually. Dev channel insiders are receiving Windows 11 Build 23466 that comes with a huge number of changes. Microsoft has officially released the Moment 3 update for Windows 11

Microsoft has released an optional cumulative update KB5026446 (OS Build 22621.1778) for Windows 11 version 22H2 that brings with it several new features and changes. Being part of the Moment series, it ships new features without users having to upgrade to a full pledged release. This is the second such update in 2023.

May 2023 optional Preview updates for Windows 11/10 are available

Microsoft has released optional Preview updates for Windows 11 and Windows 10. For Windows 10, the only supported version is Windows 11 22H2, as older releases no longer receive optional updates. Only cumulative monthly security updates (known as the "B" or Update Tuesday release) will continue for Windows 10 versions 20H2 and 21H2.

The Moment 3 update for Windows 11 22H2 will be released tomorrow, on May 24

Microsoft has officially announced that the next feature update, known as Moment 3, for Windows 11 version 22H2 will be available tomorrow, May 24, 2023, as an optional cumulative update. All changes, excluding the "preview" ones, will also be included in the next Patch Tuesday update on June 13th.
