Microsoft started rolling out an updated version of the Authenticator app, bringing users an updated Fluent Design icon, plus a bunch of new enterprise-related features.

One of the great improvements in Windows 11 is window management. When you move some app to a screen edge, the OS offers you up to 6 layouts to arrange other windows. Now, Windows 11 Dev builds reflect those layouts in Alt + Tab and in the Taskbar preview thumbnails.

Microsoft recently published an update on the Windows 11 Health Dashboard website, notifying users about issues with some stock apps. According to Microsoft, an expired certificate caused various parts of the operating system and apps to stop working. For example, when opening Snipping Tool, users receive a Windows 8-like notification with the "This app can't open" message.

The latest Insider Preview of Windows 11 is full of small surprises which were not announced. Besides the updated style of legacy context menus, it also includes a new file grouping criteria in File Explorer.

Here's how to remove the OneDrive icon from Windows 11 File Explorer navigation pane. By default, it displays the OneDrive - Personal item with no option to get rid of it. Luckily, it is easy to change this.

Context menus and their numerous design variations in Windows 10 and 11 are a running joke among the users. After several attempts to fix design inconsistencies in Windows 10, Microsoft introduced brand-new modern context menus in Windows 11. Microsoft today released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22494 to the Dev Channel. Its key changes include the ability to mute or unmute your microphone from the Taskbar starting with Microsoft Teams, and a set of important fixes.
