Microsoft has updated the Edge Dev channel with a new feature, the new Download UI, which was earlier available to select small group of Insiders. Now, starting in build 87.0.629.0 and above, Edge can ask users if they want to Open, Save As, Save, or Cancel a download. This is also available in the Canary channel.

The Canary branch of Microsoft Edge is updated with a new feature. Microsoft is currently testing 'Web Capture', a new option that allows capturing and sharing a portion of a web page.

How to Remove Color from PWA Title Bar in Microsoft Edge

Edge now allows removing the unique color from PWA windows. Microsoft has added a new option to Dev and Canary builds of the Edge browser. When enabled, it allows to get rid of colorful title bars for Progressive Web Apps installed and running in Microsoft Edge.

Microsoft has published a new blog post that mentions the key changes done to the Edge browser in August 2020. The post opens a new What’s New in Web Experiences series that the company promises to post every six months, along with major Edge releases. The announcement also mentions a number of changes made to Bing, Teams, and News.

Microsoft has released Edge 85.0.564.41 to the stable branch. The update is aligned with Chromium/Chrome releases, and brings improvements to the sync, Collections, PDF reader, Internet Explorer, and other features.

Starting in Microsoft Edge 86.0.613.0, which is the latest Canary build of this writing, the browser has got a new download file popup dialog. It adds extra options 'Save as', 'Save', 'Open', so you can directly choose the desired action.
