Edge Dev 87.0.658.0 released with selective text translation

This week's Edge Dev release, which is build 87.0.658.0, comes with the traditional set of general improvements and fixes. As for new features, the ability to translate the selected text on a page is finally available in the Dev branch, along with a new option to never translate web sites specified by the user.

Microsoft is testing various layouts for the Microsoft Edge's Vertical Tab option. Currently, the browser shows a button prior to the tab row on the left.  By clicking on that button the user can move the open tabs to the left and stack them vertically, or restore the traditional horizontal tab layout.

Edge Stable 85.0.564.63 comes with 7 vulnerabilities fixed

Microsoft has released Edge Stable 85.0.564.63  on September 23. The update is notable for resolving seven vulnerabilities in the browser, which are actually shared with Google Chrome. Microsoft had to issue a new browser version to get them resolved, as they are already resolved in Google's product.
