Microsoft Edge is now a fully cross-platform browser. You can use it on Windows (including older and even unsupported versions,) macOS, iOS, Android, and even Linux. Those prompts were consistent enough to piss off lots of users on the Internet. Luckily, enthusiasts quickly learned that they could fix the problem by disabling one of the experimental flags in Microsoft Edge.
