Windows 11 printer queue now looks gorgeous thanks to Fluent Design

Windows 11 build 22567 introduced a bunch of novelties. There are new inbox apps, new Search features, numerous improvements to File Explorer. The latter even supports tabs, what is totally unexpected. Yet another interface change in this release is the updated printer queue.

Along with Windows 11 build 22572, Microsoft announced a new feature, Search Highlights, that is coming to Windows 11 users next week. It will display a ton of useful and interesting information just before you having to search for anything.

Windows 11 Dev Build 22572 adds new inbox apps, Search and interface changes

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 22572 to Insiders in the Dev channel. The new build includes a number of major changes, such as new pre-installed apps, "highlights" in Search, a new way to open full context menus in File Explorer, new icons and even a new print queue dialog of the Fluent Design style.

March 2022 Xbox update is available with Share button remapping and Pin to Quick Resume

Microsoft today released a software update for the Xbox platform. You can now pin up to two games in Quick Resume and use a new audio setup wizard. There is also a new firmware for Xbox Wireless controllers that allows to remap the Share button.

AMD: Ryzen’s fTPM stuttering Issues will be fixed with May BIOS updates

AMD issued an announcement regarding the now-long standing issue with stuttering on Ryzen devices with fTPM. The company said it has successfully fixed it and shipped the update to motherboard vendors. But don't expect it to become available right now. The new firmware will be tested for around a month internally and then will see the light somewhere in May 2022. The company also offers a right-now solution for whose who depends on TPM features.

Windows 11 now has the option to remove ‘Recommended’ from Start, but you can’t use it

The "Recommended" section in the Start menu is one of new features of Windows 11. It is designed to save your time by providing one-click access to the files you are working on. The new feature was lukewarmly received by users who want to get rid of that area and give more room to pinned apps.
