Microsoft representatives revealed that the company have recently done a full server upgrade for Xbox Cloud Gaming (Project xCloud). The gaming network infrastructure is now only use Xbox Series X-based server blades. The solution improves frame rate and reduces game load times.
Also, Microsoft recently introduced support for streaming games in 1080p at 60 FPS. However, that's not all that Xbox Series X devices can bring to the end user. For example, Microsoft's about to add support for broadcasting games in 4K, but it hasn't been announced when this feature update will be available to users.
Microsoft is also working on an Xbox app for Smart TVs. It will allow you to play Xbox games right on your TV without buying an Xbox console. There are also plans for lightweight cloud gaming stick computers that the user can connect directly to TVs or monitors.
Currently, the Xbox Cloud Gaming service operates in 26 countries around the world, including Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Japan which joined the list of locations around a week ago. Source: TheVerge.
