Windows Health Dashboard is now available in 10 more languages

Every Windows 10 release (Windows 11 will join the party later this year) has a dedicated Health Dashboard section in the official documentation from Microsoft. There, the Software giant keeps track of all known bugs and possible workarounds. If something goes wrong in your system, go to Windows Health Dashboard first. Besides tracking bugs and instabilities, Microsoft uses Windows Health Dashboard to announce status changes, warn users about the upcoming end of support, forced updates, etc.

Windows Release Health Dashboard

Windows Health Dashboard is a valuable and exceptionally good source for those who want to keep their PCs healthy. Unfortunately, the biggest downside is the fact that Windows Health Dashboard is only available in English. That is no longer the case, as Microsoft has announced ten new languages for the documentation.

Microsoft says localization was the most popular request from Microsoft Docs users. After receiving a lot of user feedback, Microsoft announced Windows Health Dashboard support for the following languages: French (France), German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Italian, and Korean.

It is important to note that Microsoft uses machine translation, which means the localization quality will be questionable at best. Moreover, Microsoft says it will continue publishing original documentation in English, and it may take up to 24 hours for updates to appear in the previously mentioned languages.

Windows Health Dashboard will automatically switch to your default browser and operating system language whenever you open Microsoft Docs. If the documentation does not support your language, it will default to English with the ability to select any other "supported" language. After all, you can use the built-in page translation feature in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Vivaldi. The latter two now come with built-in offline translation services that focus on privacy.
