Windows 10 21H1 brings no changes to hardware requirements

The first feature update to Windows 10 in 2021 is getting closer, and Microsoft is shedding more light on details about this update. Usually, noticeable updates bring some changes to hardware requirements, but this is not the case with Windows 10 21H1. Windows 10 version 21H1, will officially be build 19043. Microsoft is preparing its release with KB4598291, the patch that was issued to the Release Preview channel yesterday.

Windows 10 21H1 for desktop will be build 19043

As predicted earlier, Microsoft will release Windows 10 version 21H1 in the form of a cumulative update. It will be a minor release, whereas version 21H2 will be a major feature update to the OS. What’s coming to Windows 10 in 2021

2021 will be an exciting year for Windows 10. It will receive major updates, along with Windows 10X coming to laptops, although it is not clear what extra features Windows 10X will bring to laptops. Also, Microsoft's Cloud PC service is expected to enable app streaming to consumer devices from the cloud.

Microsoft jumps to version 10.0.201xx for 21H1 builds

A few days ago, Microsoft has released Windows 10 version 2004 (20H1) to the stable branch.  Its build number is 19041. Meanwhile, Insiders in the Fast Ring are on build 19635, which represents Windows 10 version 20H2 'Manganese'. Now, the first version number for the Windows 10 21H1 is spotted by enthusiasts.

Microsoft Changes Windows 10 Testing Process with Build 19536 (Fast Ring)

Microsoft today announced a new build of Windows 10 which is now available to Insiders in the Fast Ring. Also, the company announced the changes on how they test Windows 10 and Windows 10X. Fast ring builds are no longer tied to specific future releases of Windows 10.
