The main dialog now follows Windows 11's visual guidelines and looks home in the OS. Also, on launch, it will show keywords for available plugins, so you can go with a required task faster. They will also appear when the search box is empty.
Besides the new Fluent Design style of the main dialog that you see when press Alt + Spacebar, you will notice new action glyphs that come from the most recent Segoe font family.
Developers have stopped using transparency for the Run window. This change opens up the ability to resize the dialog box and other similar capabilities that were limited by the current implementation. Also, its default size is now smaller, but the when showing results, it displays more information than before.
Finally, here's a small visual comparison of the current version of PowerToys Run and its upcoming version.
