Windows 8 introduced a completely different task manager which is very different from the Windows 7/Vista/XP task manager. While it has a few advantages and improvements, it is also has bugs, regressions and missing functionality. That is why some users prefer the classic Task Manager app. It is faster and more usable. But there are times when you might occasionally need functionality from the new Task Manager such as analyzing a wait chain or monitoring disk usage without firing up Resource Monitor. Change Windows 10 folder icons with *.ico file
Windows 10 features really nice folder icons which look very stylish and modern. Folder icons were changed for the first time since Windows Vista. They look similar to the icons in Windows Vista/7/8 however they are flatter looking yet retain the richness of colors. Deepin-lite icon set for Linux
As Winaero readers might be knowing, I use Linux too besides Windows. I am always trying out new themes and icons for Linux. Recently I found a distro with a nice icon set called Deepin Linux. I am not a fan of the distro itself, but I like some parts of its appearance. Its folder icons look fresh and beautiful. Here is the icon set "Deepin-lite" that I made to use those folder icons in any GTK+ desktop environment.
