Windows Server Build 17738 Released

Microsoft today released a new Insider Preview of Windows Server. This time it is Windows Server Build 17738. Officially known as Windows Server 2019, this release is now available for the Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC). The release contains both the Desktop Experience and Server Core in all 18 server languages, as well as a new build of the next Windows Server Semi-Annual Channel release in English. In addition, the preview version of Microsoft Hyper-V Server and Windows Admin Center 1808 are included with this build.

Crop Images with Photos in Windows 10

The Photos app is a Universal (Metro) app which comes pre-installed in Windows 10. It is a Store app which is intended to replace Windows Photo Viewer, since Microsoft wants to make the whole user environment look and work the same on Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 for PCs. Windows 10 comes with a set of bundled apps which are installed for all users by default. Some of them like Calculator or Photos are intended to replace classic Windows apps. One such app is the Screen Sketch appwhich will eventually replace the classic Snipping Tool app. Starting with Windows 10 Build 18219, the app has got a new name, Snip & Sketch.
