Your Phone app to get Contacts, Sent from Phone, and more

Microsoft has updated the built-in Your Phone app with a number of new options. Starting in version 1.20091.79.0 that is available to select Insiders, the app features a working Contacts section, the new category 'Sent from Phone', and a few interface changes in settings, including the new My Devices section, and re-arranged options.

Disable or Enable Suggested Passwords in Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge now suggests using auto-generated strong secure passwords.

Microsoft has added a new useful feature to the Canary version of the browser. When you are signing to a web site, Edge generates a strong, secure password that you can use. It will also save it to your saved passwords.

Your Phone’s Android apps on Desktop feature is now generally available

Recently, Microsoft introduced the ability to 'stream' Android apps from the linked smartphone. Initially available to Insiders, the feature is now generally available, but still remains exclusive to Samsung phones.

KB4576754 force installs Edge Chromium in Windows 10 version 2004

Microsoft has released KB4576754, a new update that force installs the Edge browser in Windows 10 version 2004 and older releases. Similar to KB4559309, after installing the above patch Microsoft Edge appears installed and pinned to the taskbar, and the uninstall button is grayed out in the list of installed apps.
