LibreOffice Creator Joins ‘End of 10’, Urging Windows 10 PCs to Switch to Linux

The Document Foundation, the creator of LibreOffice, has joined in supporting the End of 10 initiative  to migrate older Windows 10 PCs to Linux-based distributions.  According to their claim, the user don't have to follow Microsoft's upgrade path: There's a better option that puts control back in the hands of users, institutions, and governments: Linux and LibreOffice.

Windows 10 Build 19045.6029 (RP) comes with a lot of various fixes

Microsoft today released Windows 10 Build 19045.6029 to Insiders in the Release Preview channel. It applies to version 22H2 and became available via the KB5061087 patch. This update brings several improvements, including updated COSA profiles for mobile operators, fixes for COM activation errors, and an upgraded cURL tool. It introduces enhanced app defaults for EEA users, improved Start Menu reliability, and better handling of language packs and FOD packages. Additional fixes include resolution of scanning issues with USB printers, version display inaccuracies in Settings, and system crashes affecting Kiosk devices and SMB shares.

Windows 11 Build 22631.5545 (RP) Makes Edge Less Intrusive

Microsoft has released Windows 11  Build 22631.5545 (KB5060826) for  Insiders in the Release Preview channel. It applies to version 23H2. Key changes include improvements to default browser settings for EEA users, better handling of file associations, and a new content preview in the Share window. The update also brings fixes for issues related to auditing logs, domain password updates, Remote Desktop , SMB network access, and more.
