Microsoft has quietly released the Copilot app for Android

Microsoft has quietly made available the Copilot app for Android. The app has been around for almost a week now, and the company hasn't bothered to announce it widely. It allows using the company's AI chat bot on the most popular mobile platform. The apps provides the dialog-based UI, and doesn't require the Bing app.

Copilot for Android is a lot like the ChatGPT app. With it, you can ask questions to the chatbot, generate images using the DALL-E 3 model, create texts for emails and documents. It also supports the newest GPT-4 model.

Microsoft packed the new Copilot tool with the following annotation on the Play Store.

Copilot is a pioneering chat assistant from Microsoft powered by the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4 and DALL·E 3. These advanced AI technologies provide fast, complex, and precise responses, as well as the ability to create breathtaking visuals from simple text descriptions. Chat and create all in one place—for free!

Android users can install it by following this link.

While the app is free, some features will become available only after you sign in to you Microsoft Account. For example, it will allow more chat sessions.

The app is currently exclusively available on Android, and isn't yet available on iPhone. According to WindowsLatest, the iOS version of the app is almost finished and will be released pretty soon.
