By default, InPrivate mode in Microsoft Edge doesn't allow using installed extensions. However, you may need to enable some extension while using Edge in the private browsing.

To Make Microsoft Edge Use Extension in InPrivate Mode

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click on the Settings button (Alt + F) and select Extensions from the menu.
3. On the Extensions page find the installed extension you want to make available in InPrivate mode, and then click on the Details link.
4. On the next page, turn on (check) the Allow in InPrivate option.
5. The extension is now available in the private browsing.

You are done.

Next time you open a new InPrivate window, you will see the extension working in the private browsing session. You can undone the change by reverting the above steps at any moment.

Note: If you allow an extension to work in InPrivate mode, it may access your browsing history, and other data. So, it is a good idea to only enable the above option for extensions that you can trust.
