Release Preview Insiders are receiving new updates

Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 21H2 in June
Microsoft has recently announced that Windows 10 version 21H2 will be reaching its end-of-support date on June 13th, 2023. This means that users who are currently using this version of Windows 10 will no longer receive important updates such as security patches and bug fixes. There are plenty of ideas Microsoft prepared and even implemented for Windows 10. Some of them you could already seen and tried. The most famous example is the Sets function, which was supposed to add a tabbed interface to all applications, but it never made it to release. Microsoft backported the new Media Player app to Windows 10
With Windows 11, Microsoft has also introduced a new Media Player app. It replaces the classic Groove Music app, and also will supersede even more classic Windows Media Player software. Microsoft is slowly sunsetting the latter, so it didn't get any new major change for several Windows releases. To keep Windows 10 up to date, Microsoft will make the new Media Player app available in that OS as well. Without a fanfare, the Redmond firm has pushed it to the Release Preview channel.

Microsoft has finished support for Windows 10 version 21H1. Yesterday's cumulative updates were the last patches it has received. Microsoft recommends upgrading to the latest versions of Windows 10 as soon as possible to continue to stay protected.
