Microsoft has officially announced several improvements that soon come to the Edge browser, and its Collections feature. It will allow you to save images and videos directly to a Collection, and follow Content creators on sites like YouTube and TikTok. Finally, Collections will receive a new "Inspiration Feed" to display related content to your collections.

Edge 103 stable is now available for download
Quickly after Google, Microsoft today released a new stable version of the Edge browser. It doesn't offer much on the consumer side, and is coming with a few policy updates and general improvements. However, with its release, Microsoft names it the best browser for gamers.
Microsoft Edge will soon get calculator, unit converter, and other tools in the sidebar
Microsoft is actively adding advanced tools to its browser. Currently, they are testing Quick Commands, and the ability to close tabs with a double-click. But you will find more interesting stuff in the browser's roadmap. According to it, Edge will soon have a calculator, unit converter, translator, Internet speed test and other mini-apps right in the sidebar.
Microsoft Edge has finally received Quick Commands
It took Microsoft a while to bring this useful feature to their browser. Quick Commands is an input box that allows you to directly launch a specific feature of the browser by typing its name. The idea isn't new, and was first introduced in the classic Opera browser. Its ideological successor, Vivaldi, was first of the Chromium-based apps to implement it. In March 2021, Chrome has got something similar called "Commander". It is 2022 and Edge now follows the suit.
Edge Dev 104.0.1293.1 improves switching between the light and dark theme
Microsoft has released a new Dev Channel build 104.0.1293.1 of the Edge browser. It doesn't include new features, but improves the existing functionality and reliability in both mobile and desktop versions.
Edge will soon allow you to close tabs with a double-click
A new option to close tabs with double-click is spotted in the Canary branch of Microsoft Edge. It addition to the cross button and a couple of keyboard shortcuts, it allows you to close tabs with your mouse faster. The new behavior can be enabled or disabled in Edge settings.
Edge Dev 104.0.1287.1 is out with 3 new features and several improvements
This week's Edge Dev 104.0.1287.1 is now available to Insiders and for downloading from the official website. In the official announcement, Microsoft reminds once again that Internet Explorer is no longer supported starting today, and recommends switching to Edge. Today's release doesn't offer much. Microsoft Edge gets deeper integration between Collections and Bing
Microsoft is implementing tight integration between Collections, Bing, and the "Follow creators" feature. The Bing's saved videos and pictures will be available directly from Collections. The "Follow creators" feature could soon become part of the Collections.
Sleeping Tabs in Edge already saved above 273 Petabytes of RAM
Microsoft has announced on Twitter that their tab freezing feature is extremely effective for Edge users. Just in 28 days it saved more than 273 Petabytes of RAM. This is around 39.1 MB per tab.
The first release of Edge 104 is now in the Dev channel, Edge 103 in Beta
Microsoft Edge 104.0.1271.2 enters the Dev channel, following the previous announcement for Edge 103 being the last build in there. From now, Microsoft will release Edge 103 builds to the Beta channel. Edge Beta 103.0.1264.13 is the first update from the 103 branch. Here are the changes.
