Microsoft releases Windows 10 Insider Preview build 21292.1010 with KB4601937. Earlier this week, Build 21292.1000 was released to the Dev channel. It was notable for having general fixes and some improvements for News and Interests.
Today's release is a cumulative update for that build. The release notes say that there's nothing new in this patch. Microsoft is again testing servicing pipeline. This allows the company to ensure that it is still possible to deliver important changes using cumulative updates, which now play the important role in feature update servicing.
The patch KB4601937 will be installed automatically, no manual interaction required. You can check for updates manually in Settings, but anyway, you won't see anything new after installing this update.
The Dev Channel, formerly known as the Fast Ring, reflects the latest changes made to the Windows code base. It is a work-in-progress, so the changes you see in Dev Channel releases may not appear in the upcoming feature update. So we can expect to see some features which will never appear in stable Windows 10 versions on Desktop.
If you have configured your device to receive updates from the Dev Channel/Fast Ring ring, open Settings - > Update & recovery and click on the Check for Updates button on the right. This will install the latest available Insider Preview of Windows 10.
