However, the minimum system requirements for the new system have changed, which is why many devices were simply incompatible with Windows 11.

During the Windows 11 presentation event, Microsoft announced that the newest OS will be able to run Android apps from the Amazon App Store, which will be integrated into the new Microsoft Store. It will use the Intel Bridge technology. However, this does not mean that Android applications supported will be limited to Intel processors.

A few days ago Microsoft unveiled a new app store for Windows 11, for which the company significantly changed its policy regarding which apps can be published in the Microsoft Store. In particular, developers will be allowed to use third-party payment services without a commission from Microsoft. Also, there is integration with the Amazon App Store that allows installing Android apps on Windows 11.

A Microsoft engineer has confirmed that Windows 11 will allow to install Android apps from APK files, without using any Store app. Simply put, if the app is not in the Amazon App Store, you can download the APK file and install it. However, it is not yet known how the installation process of such apps will take place.

Quickly after the app's initial release, Microsoft today updated the Windows 11 PC Health Check app. The initial version was heavily criticized by upset users for not providing the actual reason of the device incompatibility. There is a galore of modern, fresh devices which the utility has rated as not compatible with Windows 11.

Yesterday Microsoft announced the next generation of Windows - Windows 11. In addition, a new article has appeared on the Windows Insider blog that tells about the company's plans to test the latest OS. The company also introduced Windows 11 PC Health Check app, which is designed to tell you if your PC is compatible with Windows 11 or not.
