Windows 11 is Getting Shared Audio to Use Multiple Outputs at Once
Microsoft introduces a new Shared Audio feature in the latest Windows 11 Insider builds on the Beta and Dev channels. It allows users to direct sound output to multiple devices simultaneously. It is possible to use it with two sets of headphones, or use with speakers and headphones at the same time, and so on. The option is available in the Quick Settings panel, featuring a newly added "Shared audio" button next to the existing "Project" option.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 26200.5710 (KB5062676) to Insiders in the Dev channel, featuring several new AI features, and the ability to create logs for OS slowdowns. Copilot+ PCs can now use a Click-to-Do action "Describe image". There are also various fixes and improvements.

Firefox To Get WebGPU Support Enabled By Default
Mozilla has announced full support for the WebGPU API and its shading language, WGSL, in Firefox. Starting with Firefox 141, set for release on July 22, WebGPU will be enabled by default for Windows users. Support for Linux and macOS builds will follow in the coming months. Finally, Android integration expected at a later stage.
Microsoft Ditches Shortened Date and Time on Windows 11 Taskbar
In late 2024, Microsoft was testing a redesigned, simplified system tray in Windows 11 Insider builds. The update changed the date and time section of the taskbar by removing the AM/PM designation and the current year display. The updated layout retained only the time, date, and month. Additionally, the notification bell icon was set to change appearance based on the Do Not Disturb status.
