Microsoft will soon introduce smaller Surface Pro and Surface Laptop

Microsoft is working on smaller versions of its Surface Pro and Surface Laptop devices, featuring screens measuring approximately 11 to 12 inches. These models will maintain the high-quality design aesthetic characteristic of the Surface brand. The official unveiling of these products is expected within the next few weeks, with availability projected for April or May of 2025 at a price point between $800 and $900.

You can now try Game Assist in Microsoft Edge stable

Recently, Microsoft has started testing Game Assist, a feature that makes a Edge browser become part of Game Bar. It appears as an overlay on Windows 11. The company has now announced that this feature is available in the stable version of Microsoft Edge. So now gamers can finally try it out without installing any extra software (specially preliminary Edge versions) or change their default browser.

The recently released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.2992 (Dev channel) includes a hidden Battery Percentage feature. It adds a text value of the battery power that will appear next to the battery icon on the taskbar. Earlier, you could only find the value by hovering with you mouse pointer over the battery icon on the taskbar. Now it can be enabled to be visible all the time.
