Windows 11 Build 23466 (Dev) allows ungrouping taskbar buttons, backup your apps, updates emoji, and more

Dev channel insiders are receiving Windows 11 Build 23466 that comes with a huge number of changes. There are the earlier announced Dev Drive feature, the ability to ungroup taskbar buttons and show their labels, the ability to backup and restore your Store apps to the cloud, and tons of other changes.

Microsoft has officially released the Moment 3 update for Windows 11

Microsoft has released an optional cumulative update KB5026446 (OS Build 22621.1778) for Windows 11 version 22H2 that brings with it several new features and changes. Being part of the Moment series, it ships new features without users having to upgrade to a full pledged release. This is the second such update in 2023.

May 2023 optional Preview updates for Windows 11/10 are available

Microsoft has released optional Preview updates for Windows 11 and Windows 10. For Windows 10, the only supported version is Windows 11 22H2, as older releases no longer receive optional updates. Only cumulative monthly security updates (known as the "B" or Update Tuesday release) will continue for Windows 10 versions 20H2 and 21H2.

Today at Build 2023, Microsoft has announced two long awaited changes coming to Windows 11. First of all, the company has officially confirmed that soon users will be able to group taskbar buttons and enable labels for them. The other announcement is native support for tar, 7-zip, rar, gz and many others archive formats.
