Windows 11 comes with a built-in troubleshooter app "Get Help". It is a user-friendly tool that helps resolving various issues. Its user interface is built around the search box that allows entering the problem description. By default it offers quick links that explain how to setup up a scanner , install Office, etc. The app now promotes a Microsoft Teams subscription.

Windows Package Manager, or winget, has reached version 1.4.11071. The release is notable for adding support for installing .zip files, native PowerShell support, and allows disabling app updates with a special command line argument.

Microsoft has released new preview builds of Windows 11 (version 22H2) 22621.1830 and 22631.1830 (KB5026443) to members of the Windows Insider Program on the Beta channel. Build 22631.1830 comes with new features, while its counterpart has those features disabled by default.
Windows 11 Build 23471 (Dev) makes it easier to view photos from your smartphone
Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 23471 to Insiders in the Dev channel. The update allows you to view the smartphone photos with a couple of clicks. For that, there is a new button in File Explorer. Additionally, there are updates for Narrator, better tab drag-n-drop in File Explorer, and the Gallery item available to a wider audience.
Teams 2.0 will replace the classic Teams app on Windows already this year
Earlier in March, Microsoft introduced a new version of the Teams client for Windows. The new version was notable for better UI, improved performance. Microsoft is going to move the Teams 2.0 out of preview, and ship as the default client app on Windows by the end of 2023.
Chrome 114 is out with an updated Password Manager and Side panel
Google Chrome 114 is available in the stable branch with several user interface changes. Its password manager is now a PWA that can have its own desktop shortcut, and comes with several improvements. The side panel allows managing bookmarks with advanced sorting and filters.
How to add Memory, CPU and GPU widgets in Windows 11
The new GPU, RAM, Network and CPU widgets are part of the new Dev Home app, that allows you to monitor system resources from the Widgets pane. Currently, there are only four of them, but more may come in the future.
Firefox 115 will include automatic translator for web pages
Current Nightly builds of Firefox that will become Firefox 115 on July 4 include the automatic mode for the offline translator that will be enabled by default. It won't use any cloud service to translate a web page. The translation is a locally running process.
Firefox will only support Windows 7/8/8.1 until September 2024
Mozilla has finally named the end of support date for Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Firefox 115 will be the last version to support these OSes. With it, the company will move its users to the ESR branch, that will receive security updates until September 2024. There will no longer be any updates for the unsupported OS users after that time.
