Windows 11 Build 26010 (Canary) allows moving Copilot and more

Windows 11 Build 26010 is now available to Insiders on the Canary channel. It introduces new settings for the Widgets panel, the Edit in Notepad menu for all files, character counter for Notepad document, an updated Microsoft Store. Besides, you will be able to undock Copilot, and have pagination in Quick Settings.

Google intends to introduce a new functionality called Compose, powered by artificial intelligence, to its Chrome browser. This feature will enable users to generate text whenever needed, and it will be accessible on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.

Microsoft Store has got a new Arcade tab with games you can play instantly

In Windows 11 preview builds, Microsoft has recently rolled out an update to the Store app. This update introduces a new feature called "Arcade", which allows users to access instant games without the need for downloading them. The "Arcade" tab can be found directly below the "Games" tab in the Microsoft Store app.

Microsoft announced paid Extended Support Updates for Windows 10

In October 2025, Microsoft plans to introduce the Extended Support Updates (ESU) program for Windows 10 (paid updates). As you may remember, free support for the operating system ends exactly in 2025. Under this initiative, Microsoft will charge for the release of security updates for Windows 10, that will continue for a period of three years.
