Winaero Tweaker is a free app for all versions of Windows that lets you adjust (i.e. tweak) hidden secret settings that Microsoft does not let you adjust from the user interface. It is a powerful system utility that supports Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11 and includes hundreds of settings. It also includes many options that were earlier available exclusively in my standalone applications.

Windows 11’s Recall still takes screenshots of credit cards

Microsoft's Recall feature has returned to Windows Insiders builds, complete with screen encryption and a sensitive information filtering setting. The latter prevents any apps or websites that contain credit card numbers, insurance policies, or other sensitive financial information from being recorded. However, in testing, this filter only works in a limited number of cases.

Windows 11 24H2 has issues with audio and Auto HDR, rollout is paused
